1 Ponce Inlet charter targets redfish
Redfish (red drum) are the signature inshore catch around Ponce Inlet. You will find them tailing on the flats, holding around dock lines and oyster bars, and schooling in the surf come fall. Hard-pulling and happy to eat a well-placed bait or fly, they are a favorite for families and light-tackle anglers fishing the inlet.
When they run
Based on redfish that captains have recently reported catching at Ponce Inlet. Green is a strong showing, amber is occasional.
