What does it cost to list?
Listing is free, with no lead fees. You only pay Hookset's standard booking fee on trips you actually book through the platform, and you keep your pricing, your calendar, and your repeat customers.
How do I get listed?
Head to the List Your Charter page and tell us about your operation. We verify you are the operator, review your captain's license and charter insurance, help you onboard with Hookset, and publish your page. Most captains are live within a few days of sending their documents.
What do I need to get verified?
Your current captain's license and charter insurance. Both are required before your listing goes live, and our team reviews them by hand. If you hold a charter fishing license, you can add that too, but it is optional.
What if I don't have my documents handy when I sign up?
No problem, and don't let it stop you. Signing up takes a couple of minutes without them, and we email you a secure link to add your captain's license and charter insurance whenever you are ready. Your listing goes live and starts taking bookings once we have verified both.
Do I have to take bookings through Hookset?
Yes. Bookings run through Hookset so anglers get real-time availability and secure payment, and you get instant confirmations and payouts to your bank. We walk you through setup when you claim or list.
What kind of trips and captains fit?
Anyone running trips out of Ponce Inlet and the surrounding water: inshore and flats guides, nearshore and offshore charters, and surf and beach guides who fish from the sand. If you fish the inlet, you fit.

You manage your trip types, pricing, capacity, and what's included from your Hookset account and your listing. Update them any time; changes show on your page.
How do I reach a customer who booked me?
You get the angler's contact and trip details with every booking, so you can confirm the meeting spot and answer questions before the trip.
Do you compete with my repeat customers?
No. We send you new anglers searching for Ponce Inlet trips. Your repeat customers are yours, and nothing here changes how they book with you directly.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule a trip?
Manage it from your Hookset dashboard and message the angler. Your cancellation and refund terms are your own and are shown to anglers before they book.
How do reviews and catch photos work?
